Every dog below is available for adoption from Rescue Network, a 100% foster-based dog and cat rescue. We pull from overcrowded areas across the Midwest and, periodically, the southern states, and our dogs live in foster homes — not in a shelter — so we can tell you honestly how each one does with kids, cats, other dogs, and everyday home life.

Many of our dogs come to us with little or no known history, so some details are still a work in progress. We share as much as we honestly can, and our fosters keep learning about each dog every day — all breeds are our best guess.

What every adopted dog comes with.

Every adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, deworming, a microchip with registration, and a heartworm test for dogs over 9 months. Apply online, meet the dog with their foster, then sign the contract and pay electronically. Most adoptions are finalized within 5 to 14 days. Live outside Minnesota and South Dakota? You can still adopt: you travel to meet the dog and arrange transport home. Within Minnesota and South Dakota we can often bring the dog to you for a small fee.
