We’re 100% foster-based — but a few cats wait in adoption condos at partner stores, where you can meet them in person.
- Stores
- Five in the Twin Cities: PetSmart Eagan, Lakeville, Plymouth and Richfield, and Chuck & Don’s Chanhassen.
- Visiting
- Any time the store is open. No appointment, nothing to sign up for.
- Adopting
- Same as from a foster home: apply online and we take it from there.

Common questions
Store cat questions.
What people ask before they visit.
Can I just walk in and see the cats?
Yes. The adoption condos are inside the store, so you can visit any time the store is open. There is no appointment and nothing to sign up for.
Why do some cats live at stores instead of foster homes?
Most of our cats live in volunteer foster homes. A store condo gives a cat who is ready to go a busy, visible spot where hundreds of people walk past every day, which is often the fastest way home for an easygoing adult cat.
Which cat is at which store?
The list on this page is live. It comes straight from our adoption records, and each cat links to their full profile.
Ready to bring one home?
One application covers every cat in the network, at a store or in a foster home. Start it today and we will be in touch about a meet.
